How much does it cost to place an ad?
Placing an ad is currently free. There is a charge to upgrade to a featured ad or to add title bolding.

Checks can be made out to HoosierClassifieds and mailed to P.O. Box 2272, Bloomington IN. 47402.
How do I become a sponsor?

How do I search for an ad by its ad number?
Click on "advanced search" under Quick Search. Type the ad number in the "search for" box. Check the option "by classified ad #" and click the search button.
Does HoosierClassifieds.com share it's customer database with third party companies?
No. None of the information entered when you sign up as user is shared.
Does HoosierClassifieds.com charge a percentage of sales on the site?
No.
How do I sign up or register?
Simply click on the "Login" link at the top of any page and follow the instructions. It is free and very simple.
Why should I sign up if I'm not selling anything?
You do not need to sign up to browse the ads however, when you create an account, you are given a favorites folder where you can store ads that have sparked your interest. This will also allow you to communicate with the seller of an ad.
If I sell something, who contacts the buyer?
You do. HoosierClassifieds.com does not monitor communication between buyer and seller.
What is a featured ad?
This is an ad that shows up at the top of the home page. The thumbnail picture and text will be larger than normal ads posted. This draws attention to all ads in the featured section.
What is an attention getter?
When you are placing an ad, you have the option to add highlighted text to help your ad stand out in the list.
How do I upload my photos?
Click the browse button and locate the photo on your computer. The final step will be to click the upload button. The first photo you upload will be the thumbnail photo to the left of your ad. Size limit is 100 KB each.
What happens to an ad once it is sold?
The seller who places the ad is able to delete their ad or display a sold sign on their ad. This feature can be found when editing your ads. This will prevent unwanted communication when the item is sold.
How do I find my lost password?
Simply click on the login button. Under the sign in button, you have an option to have your password emailed to you.
Do I need to log out?
Although not necessary, it is advisable to log out after each session.
